Job summary

Imperial College London’s Department of Physics is seeking a Research Proposals Administrator to provide dedicated support for pre-award funding and fellowship activity. You will act as a primary contact for researchers, review funder requirements, monitor deadlines and keep applicants informed.

Based in the Physics Knowledge Hub, you will coordinate Expressions of Interest, help with budgets, liaise with faculties and professional services, and support the fellowship development programme, with

Qualifications

• Experience delivering a professional, timely administrative service to customers or users.
• Ability to coordinate deadline-driven processes with detailed information and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong numerical skills for budgets, calculations and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key operational contact for researchers seeking support with pre-award funding and fellowship applications.
• Review funding call requirements and provide first-line guidance on funder processes, deadlines and requirements.
• Maintain proactive overview of planned and active applications, monitor deadlines, approvals and outstanding actions.
• Support researchers with research management and funder submission systems.
• Assist with preparation and checking of application budgets and costings.
• Coordinate fellowship Expressions of Interest and internal selection processes, including feedback.
