Job summary

Kingston University Service Company Ltd is seeking a Research Support Officer to augment our research support team across disciplines. You will help academics win funding and ensure funded projects run smoothly, liaising with Finance and business engagement colleagues to connect systems and processes.

You’ll work with multiple roles in Academic Services, developing knowledge across research support, knowledge exchange and related activities, and you’ll gain strong experience during a fixed-term

Qualifications

• Qualified at least to degree level.
• High standard of financial literacy and numeracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels including senior roles.
• Excellent prioritisation and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Help academics win funding for their research.
• Ensure funded projects run smoothly.
• Interact with systems supporting research and knowledge exchange.
• Liaise with the Finance team dedicated to this area.
