An Exciting Opportunity to Join Our Dynamic Research Team!

Liverpool Vaccine Group (LVG) seeks a passionate Research Nurse to join our agile team at the state-of-the-art 12-bedded Human Challenge Facility (HCF) in Liverpool. This facility focuses on experimental medicine research, testing vaccine and drug safety and efficacy, and plays a pivotal role in developing new treatments and vaccines.

The Role:

As a Research Nurse, you will provide clinical care in the HCF, adhering to study protocols and GCP standards. Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical care to study participants
• Collecting samples and entering data via eCRFs
• Ensuring studies run smoothly and in compliance with GCP
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop vaccines and treatments

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to life-saving research in a collaborative environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Immediate Life Support (ILS) trained
• Experience in clinical research or trials (desirable)

• Passion for global health improvement
• Availability for out-of-hours work including nights, weekends, and bank holidays

You will work at the Human Challenge Facility in the Liverpool Life Science Accelerator Building, part of the Knowledge Quarter, in a state-of-the-art 12-bed inpatient facility dedicated to advancing vaccine testing against infectious pathogens.

This is a contingent contract, with hours including social hours, evenings, and weekends.
