An Exciting Opportunity to Join Our Dynamic Research Team!

Liverpool Vaccine Group (LVG) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Research Nurse to join our team at the state-of-the-art 12-bedded Human Challenge Facility (HCF) in Liverpool. This facility focuses on experimental medicine research, testing vaccine and drug safety and efficacy, playing a pivotal role in developing new treatments and vaccines.

The Role:

As a Research Nurse, you will provide clinical care to participants in the HCF, ensuring adherence to study protocols and GCP standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical care during participants' stay in the HCF
• Collecting samples and entering data via electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs)
• Ensuring smooth, efficient clinical study operations in line with GCP guidelines
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of clinicians and scientists to develop better vaccines and treatments

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative research and the development of life-saving vaccines in a collaborative environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Immediate Life Support (ILS) trained
• Experience in clinical research or trials (desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge of GCP
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for improving global health through research
• Willing to work out of hours, including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays

The role is based at the Liverpool Life Science Accelerator Building, part of the Knowledge Quarter, in a state-of-the-art 12-bed inpatient facility advancing vaccine testing pathways.

This post is a contingent contract, requiring flexible hours including social hours, evenings, and weekends.
