We are seeking to recruit a highly competent and motivated individual to undertake ward and staff management, team building and clinical leadership.

Molly Lane Fox ward is a 26 bedded acute Neurosurgical ward. It is a fast paced and dynamic working environment with ample development opportunities. It is an exciting time to be involved with an expanding team and develop services while supporting and working closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.

The successful applicant must be highly motivated and enthusiastic about teaching all grades of junior staff within the ward. The candidate must be an outstanding communicator, demonstrate first-rate organisational and multitasking skills, and have the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment. They should support, train, develop, and educate others, work well autonomously and as part of a team. The applicant should practice the Trust values and work alongside nursing colleagues to deliver high standards of individualised care. Supporting the Trust’s inclusivity and diversity initiatives will also be integral.

Main duties of the job

Work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team. The candidate must hold a ‘teaching in the clinical setting’ certificate or equivalent and have experience or qualifications in a Neuroscience setting or relevant specialty. Neuroscience courses are highly advantageous. This role offers opportunities to enhance skills and career development within a high-profile NHS trust.
