Research Lead – Social Health
London/Hybrid
£49-59,000 depending on experience
This proactive and influential government funded not-for-profit organisation has created the new role of Research Lead in order to help deliver a major mental health initiative across the country. You will be responsible for identifying research opportunities to shape and improve the programme. Already operating at the forefront of implementing high-quality, evidence-based practices our client is ambitious to continue to improve outcomes for clients accessing health services by adding robust and influential research and insights.
The Research Lead will join a dynamic team as a passionate advocate for evidence-based practices translating cutting-edge research into practical, on-the-ground solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in their mission to transform lives.
This is a hands-on role conducting national research using research methodology such as surveys, experimental research, desk-based literature reviews, interviews, focus groups, case studies, data mining etc. The focus will be on qualitative methods, and so significant experience in qualitative research, in particular with vulnerable groups is essential. You must be highly skilled in translating research findings into insights and taking your findings to varied stakeholders. In this role you will be working across the charity and into central and local government. You will be called upon to present research findings at conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Based flexibly across England with a hybrid working model, this role requires regular presence at the London office and a willingness to travel nationally.
