Job summary

Tate in Hampshire on the South Coast is seeking a Linux systems administrator to join a research-led team delivering advanced computing platforms for data science and AI initiatives.

You will support and administer Linux-based research computing platforms, manage HPC and large-scale storage, and work with researchers to develop technical solutions. The role offers hybrid working with one day per week onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux-based research computing platforms.
• Exposure to HPC and AI infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise storage systems.
• Knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with GPU-enabled environments and scientific workloads.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices.

Salary: £41,000 - 49,000 per year

Requirements

• High Performance Computing (HPC)
