The Oxford Internet Institute—founded in 2001—is a multidisciplinary research and teaching department of the University of Oxford, dedicated to the social science of the Internet.
The department seeks to appoint a Research Grants Officer to play a vital role in a busy department, providing high level research administration to the departments academic staff, with a particular focus towards financial administration, monitoring and reporting of all active research grants (post-award stage) as well as aspects of pre-award administration.
Working in the Research Facilitation area of the departmental professional services, you will provide financial support for research grant awards as well as other operational support for recurring research activities.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), with experience of research financial administration in a higher education institution or similar organisation, and a demonstrable ability to work independently; you will also have strong organisational skills, a keen attention to detail, experience of using spreadsheets to manipulate and present data, and proven communication and interpersonal skills.

£34,982 to £40,855 per annum (pro rata) Grade 6
