An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join the Joint Research and Enterprise Services as a Research Governance and Facilitation Officer. This role is crucial in providing research governance and facilitation services to academics and clinicians, focusing on clinical studies hosted at St George's and non-CTIMPs sponsored by St George's.
The Research Governance and Facilitation Officer will deliver high standards of service to clinical researchers, assisting with project approvals, assessing study feasibility, and providing ongoing project support. The post-holder is responsible for ensuring that clinical research at St George's meets the highest standards of science, governance, and ethics. The role involves managing projects across various Divisions and Institutes at St George's.
This position supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of systems for effective management of Research & Development, research governance, and risk management across St George's University Hospitals Foundation Trust and St George's University of London. It ensures the presence of robust systems to support, monitor, and coordinate research activities in accordance with relevant regulations and legislation.
