We build on pre-existing successful collaborations investigating a variety of workforce issues including the integration of emerging roles in primary care; General Practitioners in Emergency Departments; general practice composition and performance; and first response services in rural communities, using a range of methodologies including realist evaluations, systematic reviews, scheduling and data forecasting, surveys and mixed methods research. Our partnership has been funded by NIHR Health and Social Care Delivery Research Programme for 5 years to undertake cutting edge research investigating the Same Day Urgent care workforce. This is a key role within the research study team, and you will be responsible for liaising with other partner institutions to co-ordinate work plans. This will involve contributing to protocol development; obtaining ethical approvals; data collection and analysis; and report writing and dissemination. You can work on your own initiative, seeking guidance and advice where necessary from the Chief Investigators, Partnership Manager and the Study Management Group. You’re well organised, possess strong communication skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
