Liverpool John Moores University invites applications for a 24-month Research Fellow (PDRA) to lead and contribute to data-driven research on maritime transport, sustainable logistics and decarbonisation. The role focuses on AI, digitalisation and quantitative methods to inform evidence-based decision-making.

Formación

• PhD in a relevant field and a good honours degree.
• Strong quantitative research and data-analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in programming or analytical tools and dissemination of findings in journals/conferences.
• Experience with maritime decarbonisation, sustainable logistics, AI, or proof-of-concept development is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to scoping, feasibility, and proof-of-concept development for decarbonisation projects.
• Develop and apply quantitative and data-driven models including modelling, simulation, optimisation, and ML.
• Assist in developing, testing and evaluating analytical tools, prototypes and demonstrators with academic and external partners.
