Zusammenfassung

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) invites applications for a Research Fellow (PDRA) to advance maritime and last-mile decarbonisation research within the LOOM institute. You will develop quantitative, data-driven approaches to address challenges in sustainable transport and logistics, working with interdisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes evidence-based decision-making, the creation of practical solutions, and dissemination through high-quality publications.

Qualifikationen

Strong quantitative research and data-analysis capabilities.
Proficiency in programming or analytical tools.
Ability to publish research findings in international journals and conferences.
Experience with maritime decarbonisation, sustainable logistics, AI or digitalisation projects preferred.

Aufgaben

Contribute to scoping, feasibility assessment and proof-of-concept development for decarbonisation projects.
Support development and application of quantitative models, including modelling, simulation and optimisation.
Assist in developing analytical tools, prototypes and demonstrators with researchers and external partners.
