Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate to work in Dr Gregory Perry's group for up to 3 years at the University of Southampton, UK. The role requires a PhD in synthetic chemistry or equivalent experience, with expertise in organic synthesis and familiarity with organometallics. Beneficial skills include catalysis, mechanochemistry, and mechanistic studies.
The project focuses on expanding work on Dual-Function Reagents, offering opportunities to develop skills in organometallic chemistry, isotope labelling, and other areas like catalysis and mechanochemistry. The role involves conducting research, presenting at conferences, and assisting in group management. Teaching opportunities are available but not mandatory.
Candidates nearing PhD completion will be considered; the title of Research Fellow is awarded upon PhD completion, with prior to that, the title of Senior Research Assistant applies.
