Zusammenfassung

London School of Economics and Political Science is seeking a Research Fellow in Econometrics and Validation to lead the quantitative validation of the Hub's measures. The role involves assembling firm‑level data, applying panel methods and linking diverse data sources to relate the Hub’s measures to financial and governance variables.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or be near completion, a strong publication track record, and expertise in diversity and inclusion research.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in economics, econometrics or related, or expect to submit by start date.
• Strong background in applied econometrics with panel data methods.
• Track record of peer‑reviewed publications.
• Demonstrable expertise in diversity and inclusion research, including race/ethnicity in workplace contexts.
• Experience constructing and linking large firm‑level datasets from multiple sources and strong programming skills in Stata, R and/or Python.

Aufgaben

• Lead the quantitative validation of the Hub's measures and write the work up for publication.
• Assemble and link firm‑level data from external sources and establish relationships using panel methods.
• Test construct validity, robustness and stability of the measure and components; propose improvements.
• Contribute to peer‑reviewed papers and published methodology improving external scrutiny of the measure.
