Job summary

VIAVI Solutions, Stevenage, UK, is seeking a software engineer to join Marconi Labs and help shape AI-powered software for real-world wireless networks. You will work with world-class engineers and scientists on real products and gain applied experience with digital twin and simulation technologies.

You will design features in Python, validate algorithms, build APIs, and create automated tests while leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Masters in Wireless Communications, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of Wireless/RF fundamentals (propagation, antennas, network protocols).
• Solid programming fundamentals in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with AI-assisted software coding and debugging.
• Experience building APIs and simulating tools is a plus.
