Job description

For our placement roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your placement without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid between 5th July 2027 until 30th June 2028 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. • University students pursuing an MSc in scientific or engineering degrees graduating in 2029 with a placement year as part of their degree. We also welcome applications from students graduating in 2027 or 2028 or those who have already graduated who are available to complete a 12-month placement.

We are offering 12-month placement opportunities for Scientists studying a MSc Degree which will start in July 2027 at our Newcastle Innovation Centre. About our Newcastle Innovation Centre This role is based in our Newcastle Innovation Centre. The centre focuses on developing Products for Fabric Care and Home Care with brands such as Ariel, Fairy and Bold. Our R&D sites are where ideas come to life, with teams collaborating across R&D, product development, and technology to create and test products that make a real difference! The site is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from both the City Centre and the scenic Northeast coastline, with the Tyne and Wear Metro only a 10-minute walk away and regular bus connections. There is free on-site parking, a coffee shop, subsidized restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, and a gym!
