Job summary

ICS is a niche consumer research and strategy consultancy, seeking a Research Consultant to join our growing team in the UK. You will design and deliver research projects, manage fieldwork, and analyse findings with senior colleagues guiding you.

You'll contribute to reports and client conversations, build relationships, and gradually own projects and client relationships while expanding your advisory work.

Qualifications

• Able to run research projects and manage fieldwork with senior support.
• Experience drafting questionnaires, discussion guides and stimuli.
• Carry out analysis and contribute sections of reports.
• Strong quantitative experience with surveys and data.
• Appetite for mixed-method research and strong communication.
• Self-starter, organized and able to manage time effectively.
• Right to work in the UK; home-based role with travel to offices/sites.

Responsibilities

• Design questionnaires, discussion guides and sampling approaches with senior input.
• Set up and run fieldwork; manage recruitment and external suppliers; co-run interviews/groups.
• Analyse data and produce clear, well-evidenced findings.
• Contribute to reporting with charts and narrative for senior audiences.
• Support proposals, scoping and costing discussions.
• Engage with clients, build relationships and present findings.
• Keep projects on track with timelines and coordination.
