Job summary

University of Strathclyde invites applications for a part-time Research Associate in the Centre for Teaching Excellence, Strathclyde Hub for Innovative Pedagogy. You will support the Hub lead in generating outputs from hub activity and disseminate results to academic and professional audiences.

You will collaborate with a team across the Centre for Teaching Excellence and other Scottish HEIs, contributing to the development of pedagogic methods and practitioner enquiry for professional learning

Qualifications

• PhD or near-completion in education or related field.
• Significant professional experience in education and research.
• Ability to search, review and synthesize literature for varied audiences.
• Good planning, organisation and collaboration within a team.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and review international research for dissemination to professional communities.
• Support hub processes and bridge research into practice with teaching associates.
• Write up research work for publication and present at conferences.
• Contribute to CLPL and professional learning opportunities for Scottish teachers.
