The Role

Based within Newcastle University’s Biostatistics Research Group (BRG), this role involves delivering high-quality statistical input to clinical trials across various clinical areas. The postholder can develop their expertise and participate in funding applications. The BRG comprises 31 biostatisticians working on advanced statistical methods in health research. The role is based on the university campus with flexible working options, including remote work up to half the week.

Requirements include a PhD in a statistical subject or relevant experience as a research assistant, with regular collaboration with Dr. Holly Fisher and external trial managers and data managers.

The position is fixed-term until 30 November 2027, with part-time or full-time applications welcomed.
