Job summary

London South Bank University seeks a Research Associate in Biomedical Engineering/Computing to join the Bioscience and Bioengineering Research Centre and support the international PROSPER study, developing AI-enabled endoscopic imaging tools to predict post-operative recurrence in Crohn's Disease.

You will lead on analysing endoscopic video and image data and develop deep learning models for automated feature detection.

Qualifications

• A PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in medical image/video analysis and deep learning.
• Experience with endoscopy data and multimodal data integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyse endoscopic video and image data and develop DL models for feature detection.
• Contribute to multimodal integration of imaging with histology and clinical data.
