Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Research Associate to build a client-facing MVP for the GreenAVM project. You will wrap the existing GreenAVM model in a web interface, integrate Land Registry and EPC data feeds, and provide explainable SHAP visuals for non-technical users.

You will deploy this prototype to a cloud environment and document architecture, pipelines, and deployment steps for future development.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience building web applications (full-stack or back-end).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with web frameworks.
• Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop a web-based MVP to wrap the existing AutoGluon model for client-facing demos.
• Integrate public data feeds (Land Registry, EPC Register) for live valuations.
• Implement SHAP-based visualisations for interpretability.
• Deploy prototype to cloud (AWS/Azure) and support demonstrations.
• Document architecture, codebase, data pipelines and deployment.
