The General Medical Council is seeking a Research and Insight Analyst to join our Data, Research and Insight Hub. The role involves providing high-quality, timely, and accurate insights and analysis to inform policy, process, and operational improvements within the GMC and for key stakeholders across the UK.
Your main responsibilities include utilizing primary and secondary evidence sources related to healthcare professionals and the wider healthcare environment, conducting research projects, analyzing datasets, gathering external information, sharing insights, and producing reports and papers on health matters.
Experience in regulatory and public policy environments is advantageous. The role requires adaptability to meet changing organizational needs and a good understanding of research management, horizon scanning, and environmental analysis techniques. Experience within a policy and research team is preferred.
This hybrid role requires working from the Manchester office at least once a week, with Tuesdays being the designated team day.
