Job Overview

The Research & Development Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the outputs of the process and applications laboratory, leading technical process development, and driving innovation in plant-based protein solutions. This position entails overseeing research and development initiatives, ensuring our products meet the highest quality and performance standards, all while fostering a collaborative work environment. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with good leadership skills who is ready to contribute to the mission of sustainable protein production.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the process and applications laboratory.
Coordinate technical development projects related to plant-based proteins.
Develop and optimise processes for protein extraction and formulation.
Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative applications of our proteins in food and beverage products.
Conduct studies on sensory evaluation, nutritional analysis, and product performance.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
Prepare and present technical reports and findings to stakeholders.
Supervise, mentor, and train laboratory staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitive landscapes in plant-based nutrition.
