Are you a skilled Research and Development Engineer within a manufacturing environment?

Join this expansive site as it implements future technology within valve products, focusing on both new creation and improvements on existing technology for large international customers.

As a Research and Development Engineer at HVSE, you will focus on developing advanced hydraulic cartridge valves and leading related R&D initiatives. Your role will involve product and process improvements for both new and existing valve products.

Responsibilities of the role:

1. Designing new valve products and processes, and improving existing ones
2. Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for production improvements
3. Reviewing product changes to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings
4. Collaborating with customers, production facilities, and quality teams
5. Supporting shop floor operations in the absence of dedicated process engineers
6. Working on OEM and occasional MRO projects, with a strong focus on new product development

Skills required:

1. Experience in hydraulics, with an emphasis on hydraulic cartridge valves and related processes
2. Engineering background with relevant qualifications or experience
3. Experience in product development, either from a design or product perspective
4. Leadership and autonomy traits are highly advantageous
5. Background in hydraulic and/or pneumatic valve creation is a strong benefit
