Hours: 08:00-16:30

Are you a skilled Research and Development Engineer within a manufacturing environment?

Join a global manufacturing company at its market-leading Hydraulic Valve Systems Europe division (HVSE). Be part of an expansive site implementing future technology in valve products, focusing on new creations and improvements for large international customers.

As a Research and Development Engineer at HVSE, you will develop advanced hydraulic cartridge valves and lead related R&D initiatives, focusing on product design and process improvements for both new and existing valve products.

Responsibilities:

• Designing new valve products and improving existing ones
• Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes
• Reviewing product changes for compliance with specifications and drawings
• Collaborating with customers, production, and quality teams
• Supporting shop floor operations in the absence of process engineers
• Working on OEM and MRO projects, with a focus on new product development

Skills required:

• Experience in hydraulics, especially hydraulic cartridge valves and processes
• Engineering background with relevant qualification or experience
• Experience in product development in design or related fields
• Leadership and autonomy traits are highly advantageous
• Background in hydraulic and/or pneumatic valve creation is beneficial
