Job Description Summary:
The Production, Mission Operations and Enhancements Division - Transition to Production and Deployment group group at Draper is seeking a Systems Engineer to work within multidisciplinary teams to develop and provide full system lifecycle development and management of complex, strategic grade systems, sensors and components. Duties/Responsibilities
* Help define an I&T approach for a particular component / subsystem / system and independently execute plan.
* Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
* Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
* Proactively identify needs and concerns associated with plan execution and communicate them to project leadership.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
* Curiosity-driven approach to solving complex, industry and customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively and openly with multi-disciplinary program team members. program leadership, and non-technical personnel
* Be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to balance multiple competing tasks and demands.
Education
Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
Experience
Requires 3-5 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
