"Pupils are proud of the diversity represented within their school. They animatedly described ‘the power of you’ days where they celebrate each other’s cultures and faiths. Pupils said that everyone is free to be themselves. This creates a sense of belonging which helps pupils to feel happy in school. We are looking to appoint a reliable, organised and conscientious Reprographics Technician and Administrator to provide an efficient, responsive and high-quality reprographics and administrative service across the school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a wide range of printed and digital materials, including copying, printing, scanning, laminating, binding and finishing documents and teaching resources. You will also provide administrative support to staff, assist with the school email inbox and support the organisation of meetings and events.

This is a varied role requiring excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing requests and deadlines. You will need to be confident using standard office software and reprographics equipment, with the ability to identify routine equipment issues and seek technical support when required.

The role also involves monitoring stock, placing authorised orders and maintaining accurate records. Due to the nature of the role, you will handle confidential and sensitive information, so discretion, trustworthiness and an understanding of confidentiality and data protection are essential.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to work calmly and methodically, both independently and as part of our Student Services and Reception Team. Experience within a school, office, print room or customer service environment would be desirable, although relevant experience gained through employment, education, training or voluntary work will be considered.

As users of the disability confident scheme, we guarantee to interview a fair and proportionate number of disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancies.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025, an online search may be undertaken for short listed candidates as part of due diligence. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought, along with other relevant pre-employment checks, for the successful applicant.

Informal enquiries about the post can be made to hr@stretfordhigh.com
