Une entreprise de croissance dans le secteur de l'assurance recherche un Manager Technique en Reporting pour intégrer son équipe à Manchester. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec une équipe dirigeante expérimentée, jouant un rôle essentiel dans la mise en œuvre de normes comptables techniques, notamment IFRS 17, et en influençant les décisions au niveau stratégique. Ce rôle vous offre l'opportunité de façonner les politiques internes et d'assister à des changements réglementaires clés, tout en étant un conseiller auprès de l'Équipe de Direction.

Qualifications

• Expérience dans le secteur de l'assurance souhaitée.
• Capacité à rédiger et communiquer des documents techniques de haute qualité.
• Compréhension des réglementations IFRS et Solvabilité II.

Responsibilities

• Diriger le développement et la mise en œuvre des normes comptables techniques.
• Gérer des projets IFRS 17, en garantissant la conformité.
• Rédiger et présenter des documents techniques au Conseil et aux Comités d'Audit.

Forge Talent are recruiting for a Technical Reporting Manager to join a growing Insurance business on a permanent basis in Manchester.

Working closely with an outstanding leadership team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape policy, influence decision-making at board level, and guide the business through key regulatory and financial reporting changes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of technical accounting standards across the business.
• Own and drive IFRS 17 projects, ensuring compliance and best-practice delivery.
• Draft and present technical papers to Board and Audit Committees.
• Act as the go-to technical accounting advisor to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Collaborate with finance and non-finance teams to embed robust technical frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW) with a strong technical background.
• Experience in the insurance sector, ideally from an audit or practice background.
• Solid understanding of IFRS (especially IFRS 17) and Solvency II regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and communicate high-quality technical papers.
