Job summary

Marks & Spencer plc is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Change & Controls team within Group Finance, during a SAP S/4HANA transformation. You will help shape access risk, governance and controls across our finance systems while providing independent challenge and insight.

You’ll work with colleagues across Finance and Technology, delivering assurance activities, risk reporting and policy development. The role requires analytical thinking, SAP GRC experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control and related modules.
• Strong understanding of SAP security and SoD controls.
• Excellent analytical capability with advanced Excel.
• Confident communicator with business partners at all levels.
• Collaborative, proactive and focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support independent oversight of SAP security, user access management and SoD risks, helping to maintain a strong and effective control environment.
• Develop and enhance SAP GRC policies, standards and governance frameworks that promote consistent risk management and clear accountability across the business.
• Provide expert review and challenge of SAP role design and access models, ensuring access remains proportionate, appropriate and aligned to business needs.
• Deliver assurance activities, control testing and insightful risk reporting, using data and analytics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Audit and wider business partners to provide specialist advice, support compliance requirements and influence positive control outcomes.
