Job summary

DMG::MEDIA’s Daily Mail video team is seeking a dynamic Reporter / Presenter to bring news packages and features to life for our digital audience. You’ll present stories on camera, conduct interviews and location pieces, and produce and edit your own packages with energy, clarity and authority.

You’ll work closely with journalists across the newsroom, developing original formats and helping shape high-quality output that engages readers on mobile and desktop platforms.

Qualifications

• Previous presenter or broadcast reporter experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom.
• Showreel or on-camera work samples required.

Responsibilities

• Present, script and voice news packages and features on camera.
• Work with the wider newsroom to turn editorial stories into visual narratives.
• Conduct interviews and report live from location as required.
• Produce and edit your own content, managing the workflow from script to screen using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate closely with video producers, editors and motion graphics specialists to deliver polished output.
• Support the editorial and video teams in pitching, developing and executing new content ideas.
• Help set a high standard for clarity, editorial integrity and audience engagement.

Daily Mail is looking for a dynamic Reporter / Presenter to join our video team and help bring news packages and features to life for our digital audience.You’llwork closely with journalists and editors across the newsroom, presenting stories on camera, conducting interviews and location pieces,producingand editing your own packages,and helping develop original formats that stand out for energy,clarityand authority.

Person Specification

• Confident,charismaticand professional on camera, withpreviousexperience as a presenter or broadcast reporter.
• Skilled interviewer and adaptable storyteller, able to work across hard news,featuresand lighter social content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work flexibly in a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom.
• Video production and editingproficiency(e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro), able to self-shoot and edit.
• Passion for news, currentaffairsand digital storytelling.
• Strong news judgement and understanding of Daily Mail’s audience and style.
• Showreel or examples of on-camera workrequired.
