ORONA is seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to lead repair operations in London, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality and customer satisfaction. The role suits a Senior Repairs Engineer stepping up or an existing supervisor seeking growth within a stable, international organisation.

The role demands proven lift-industry experience, strong leadership, excellent planning, and strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the lift industry with a track record of supervising teams.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to develop others.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time-management abilities.
• Solid customer focus and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance.
• Clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Right to Work in the UK is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair jobs to maximise productivity and minimise travel time.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time.
• Ensure documentation, risk assessments and method statements are in place.
• Maintain regular communication with customers with progress updates.
• Supervise repair engineers and subcontractors; provide training where required.
• Ensure weekly job sheets, repair reports and timesheets are submitted and jobs closed on schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Repairs Engineer ready to step up, or for an existing Repairs Supervisor seeking further development within a stable and internationally recognised organisation.

The Role

As Repairs Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading repair operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, Organisation & Communication
• Plan repair jobs to maximise productivity and minimise travel time
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time
• Ensure correct documentation, risk assessments and method statements are in place
• Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on progress
• Follow pre-scheduled programmes where applicable

Team Supervision & Development

• Supervise repair engineers and subcontractors
• Support continuous development and provide training where required
• Ensure all weekly job sheets, repair reports and timesheets are accurately submitted
• Monitor performance and ensure all jobs are completed and closed on schedule
• Ensure site and engineer audits are completed as required

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental regulations
• Promote safe working practices and proper use of PPE
• Maintain company tools, materials and vehicle in safe and roadworthy condition
• Proactively monitor HSE compliance across the team
