Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking an experienced Planner to join the Social Housing / Property Services team in Aylesbury.

You will plan and coordinate electrical and gas repairs, servicing and maintenance works, ensuring efficient allocation and timely completion in line with compliance requirements. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Planner, Repairs Planner, Scheduler or Coordinator.
• Experience in Social Housing, Property Services, Repairs & Maintenance or Facilities Management.
• Experience planning works for gas and/or electrical engineers.
• Strong understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule electrical and gas repairs, servicing and maintenance appointments.
• Allocate jobs to engineers and operatives based on skills, location and availability.
• Manage engineers' diaries and optimise daily workloads and travel time.
• Monitor outstanding and overdue jobs to prevent delays.
• Liaise with engineers, supervisors, contractors, residents and internal teams to ensure works are completed efficiently.
• Arrange appointments with residents and inform of changes.
• Respond to urgent and emergency repair requests, prioritising jobs.
• Monitor workloads and identify capacity or resource issues.
• Update repairs and scheduling systems accurately and timely.
• Ensure works are planned in line with KPIs, SLAs and compliance.
• Track completed and outstanding works and follow up as needed.
• Liaise with subcontractors and external contractors when required.
• Produce reports and provide updates on appointments and performance.
• Maintain records, job notes and documentation.
• Support the wider Property Services team with admin and coordination.
