Leathermarket JMB is seeking a Repairs Operative – Multi Trader to deliver responsive repairs across tenanted and void properties within our blocks and estates. The role emphasizes carpentry and multi-trade work delivered to high standards with safety and customer care at the forefront.

You will work as part of a small Repair Operatives team, manage stock and materials, and liaise with residents and staff to arrange access, reporting back on progress and any design solutions required to complete

Qualificações

• Specialization in carpentry works.
• Experience as a carpenter within a DLO context.
• Ability to identify materials and tools for each job.
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance in workshop and on-site.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out responsive repairs across multi trades, specializing in carpentry.
• Advise and train Repair Assistants on carpentry tasks.
• Identify materials and transport them to site with stock controls.
• Maintain the woodwork shop and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Liaise with staff, residents, and external contacts to arrange access.
• Review repair work and suggest design solutions if needed.
• Record repairs in block/estate areas with safety emphasis.
• Attend evictions and security tasks as required.
• Purchase and deliver materials as needed.
• Respond to emergencies, outside core hours when required.
• Ensure compliance issues are identified and remedied.
• Operate JMB vehicle safely and transport materials.
