Sheffield City Council is recruiting two Coordinators to join the Housing Fire Safety Compliance Team. You will coordinate passive fire safety repairs across the council’s housing stock, working with contractors and stakeholders to prioritise, record and monitor work.

We are recruiting two Coordinators to join our Housing Fire Safety Compliance Team at an exciting time of change and transformation. The Council has recently implemented a new operating model for delivering passive fire safety repairs across its housing stock, and these roles will play a central part in ensuring that fire safety defects are assessed, prioritised, allocated and monitored effectively.

As a Coordinator, you will support the delivery of Sheffield City Council's passive fire safety repairs programme, working closely with contractors, delivery partners, technical officers and stakeholders across Housing Services.
You will coordinate fire safety repairs from receipt through to completion, ensuring work is appropriately prioritised, accurately recorded and effectively monitored. The role will involve managing repair requests, allocating work to the correct contractor workstream, monitoring performance, maintaining compliance records and supporting the overall management of a major fire safety contract.
Working within a highly regulated environment, you will help ensure the Council maintains accurate asset information, compliance records and performance data, providing assurance that fire safety risks are being managed effectively.

We are looking for organised, proactive and detail-oriented individuals who can manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.
You will ideally have experience in coordinating work programmes, repairs, contracts, compliance activities or technical services within housing, construction, property maintenance, building safety, facilities management or a similar environment.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
