Job summary

Build Recruitment are recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer for a leading Housing Association, covering Cambridgeshire and the East of England. You will perform responsive and planned repairs across occupied and void properties, engaging across trades from plumbing to joinery and tiling.

Ideal candidates hold an NVQ Level 2 in Building Maintenance, CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card, and a full UK driving licence, with a focus on safety, customer service, and timely completion of tasks in a social

• Use handheld device for tasks (full training provided).

Permanent - Full Time

Build Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer.

Covering Cambridgeshire and the East of England (main towns: Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Bedford, Haverhill), this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation offering excellent benefits, progression, and support.

About the Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties. Your work will cover a variety of trades, including:

• Minor plumbing
• Joinery
• Tiling & flooring
• Kitchen and bathroom fitting

You'll work to deliver high-quality service within a social housing setting, completing assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided). All works should be completed efficiently, safely, and in line with best practice to ensure excellent customer experience.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative (or equivalent)
• CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices
• Experience working in both occupied and void properties
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for completing repairs on time, first time
• Experience within social housing maintenance (desirable)

You must also:

• Have your own tools
• Hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
