• Gain familiarity with technician drawings and schematics, learning to interpret technical specifications.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, assisting with inspections and testing to meet manufacturer specs.
• Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance activities, documenting work performed, parts used and testing results.
• Assist with general workshop duties, including equipment maintenance, inventory management and keeping a clean work area.

Performance Objectives

• Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing electronic issues with aviation headsets, leads, and adaptors, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Learn and support the new build process for aviation equipment, including assembling and testing components to ensure proper functionality and quality.
• Develop basic soldering skills under the supervision of experienced technicians, practicing precision soldering techniques and adhering to safety protocols.
• Gain familiarity with technician drawings and schematics, learning how to interpret technical specifications and identify components and connections.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, assisting with inspections and testing to ensure that repairs and new builds meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance activities, documenting work performed, parts used, and testing results in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist with general workshop duties, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
