Job description

We are recruiting for Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Technicians across the Thames Valley area.

This position will be responsible for R&M across our North London network, with occasional travel to South London when required.

  • Base location: North London - Kentish Town (NW5 1TN) or Lea Bridge Depot (E5 9RJ).
  • Working pattern or hours: Average 45 hours a week on a shift pattern including a standby rota.
  • Qualifications required: Full UK Driving Licence and Street works (NRSWA)/SSSTS qualification.
What you’ll be doing as a Repair & Maintenance Technician:

You will lead a two-person R&M team, ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards.

What you should bring to the role:
  • Experience or training in repair and maintenance in the water industry.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Competence in using computers and IT equipment.
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills for repairs.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical messages simply.
  • A positive, can-do attitude open to new ideas and change.
  • Self-motivation and confidence to complete tasks effectively.
  • Advantageous: EUSR Water Hygiene card, Service Avoidance L2, First Aid qualification.
