Job summary

Otis is recruiting a Lift Repair Engineer to cover the London region within the North and South Circular. You will maintain lifts and escalator units, ensuring passenger safety on site.

The role involves planned repairs across a territory, both minor and major, plus on-site customer liaison and collaboration with the team. A driver’s license and 24 months in the elevator sector are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Escalator service, maintenance, or repair.
• Driver's license and within 1 hour commute of London
• At least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• Committed professional, with safety as your priority
• Comfortable communicating to others
• Curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for planned repair work across a territory, ranging from minor to major repairs and small modifications to larger refurbs
• Work on a mixture of contractual repairs and quoted repair work
• Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship

What you will need to be successful.
