Job summary

Ayvens is seeking a Rental Fleet Site Controller in Milton Keynes to join the Flex team. You will oversee vehicle reception, preparation, and handover while collaborating with workshop, valeting and rental operations teams.

The role is hands-on and requires organisational skills and a proactive approach. The successful candidate will manage vehicle checks, coordinate movements around the site, and ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

Experience in fleet, rental, automotive or vehicle operations.
Experience working with suppliers or outsourced service providers.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
Good communication and collaborative approach.
UK driving licence with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

Check in new and returned vehicles and record any damage or missing items.
Ensure vehicles are clean, prepared and ready for delivery or collection.
Coordinate vehicle movements around the site and optimise space.
Work with the workshop team on servicing, repairs and maintenance.
Manage day-to-day activities of the valeting team and ensure on-time preparation.
Keep vehicle records and stock information up-to-date.
Carry out pre-rental checks and highlight issues.
Liaise with Rental Operations to ensure vehicle availability.
Conduct regular stock checks and support fleet audits.
Maintain a safe, tidy working environment.

We're looking for a Rental Fleet Site Controller to join our Flex team in Milton Keynes. This is a hands-on role where you'll help keep our rental fleet moving. You'll be responsible for making sure vehicles are received, inspected, prepared and ready for their next customer, while working closely with our workshop, valeting teams and rental operations colleagues. If you enjoy working in a busy environment, are organised and take pride in getting things right, this could be a great opportunity for you.,

Checking in new and returned vehicles and recording any damage or missing items
Making sure vehicles are clean, prepared and ready for delivery or collection
Coordinating vehicle movements around the compound and making the best use of available space
Working closely with the workshop team to keep on top of vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance
Managing the day-to-day activities of the valeting team and ensuring vehicles are prepared on time
Keeping vehicle records and stock information accurate and up to date
Carrying out pre-rental vehicle checks and highlighting any issues that need attention
Liaising with colleagues across Rental Operations to ensure vehicles are available when needed
Completing regular stock checks and supporting fleet audits
Helping maintain a safe, tidy and well‑organised working environment

Experience within fleet, rental, automotive or vehicle operations

Experience working with suppliers or outsourced service providers
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
A keen eye for detail
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and operational systems
A positive, hands‑on attitude and willingness to get involved where needed
A full UK driving licence with at least three years' driving experience
