A leading housing provider is seeking a Rent and Service Charge Officer for a 12-month secondment in Leeds. This role involves ensuring accurate rent and service charge calculations, preparing schedules, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively. Rent and Service Charge Officer – Yorkshire Housing

We’re on the hunt for an organised, motivated, and proactive Rent and Service Charge Officer to join our amazing team on a 12 month secondment. You’ll be part of a forward‑thinking housing provider with big plans for the future, so if you’re ready to take on your next challenge and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Ensuring that rents and service charges are calculated in line with policy and correctly entered into the rent system.
• Preparing service charge schedules for various schemes annually and calculating revised charges for review and sign‑off by the Head of Service.
• Producing informative annual rent and service charge letters, completing annual income and expenditure reports, and responding to colleague queries.
• Maintaining accurate records and working continuously to improve processes with your coordinator to meet best practice.
