Job summary

Brown and Wills Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a growing cost consultancy specialising in the renewable energy sector. They seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Northern region and provide high-quality commercial and cost management advice across a diverse portfolio of energy projects.

This role offers remote working with site visits as required, and opportunities to develop within an entrepreneurial business.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a consultancy or contractor environment.
• Experience across major construction, infrastructure, energy, or engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of cost management, procurement and commercial principles.
• Excellent ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• RICS membership or progress towards chartership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and cost management support from project inception through to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, developers, contractors and project teams to keep projects commercially robust.
• Help ensure projects are delivered effectively with strong cost control and value engineering.
