Job summary

Statkraft is hiring a Project Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for major UK/Irish renewable projects, including wind, solar and grid equipment. You will define contracting strategies and manage tendering, supplier evaluations and contract awards, working closely with engineering and project teams.

The role emphasizes on-site contract management, risk mitigation and cross-functional collaboration across sustainability, legal, finance and HSE functions, with a hybrid work setup

Qualifications

• Experience in large, complex energy or infrastructure procurement across multiple technologies.
• Proven expertise in contract management during construction/execution phases.
• Strong commercial and legal background; experience with EPC, BOP/BOS, NEC, FIDIC or similar contract models.
• Familiarity with UK/Irish and/or other global supplier markets.
• Strong understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, logistics and cost drivers.
• Degree in engineering, business or a related field.
• Fluent in English
• Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., Jaegger) is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement for major UK/Irish projects, from early development through execution and contract close out
• Define contracting strategies and shape technical and commercial scopes together with engineering and project management.
• Manage tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract award for equipment and construction services (BOP/EPC/Grid/main equipment packages).
• Ensure effective contract execution, including change control, claims management, risk mitigation and on‑site commercial follow‑up.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships in key markets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional input across engineering, sustainability, legal, HSE, finance and project teams.
• Align project procurement activities with Group Category strategies and contribute to process improvements.
