Job summary

Statkraft seeks a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement for major UK/Irish projects (Onshore Wind, Solar, BESS, etc.). The role covers strategic procurement, on‑site contract management and close collaboration with engineering, legal and finance teams.

Based in Cork, London or Glasgow, you will drive tendering, supplier negotiations and contract execution, while aligning with group category strategies for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in large, complex energy or infrastructure procurement.
• Knowledge of EPC/BOP/BOS, NEC, FIDIC or similar contracts.
• Familiarity with UK/Irish supplier markets.
• Understanding of supply chains, logistics and cost drivers.
• Degree in engineering or business.
• Experience with procurement platforms (Jaegger) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement for major UK/Irish projects, from early development through execution and contract close out.
• Define contracting strategies and shape technical and commercial scopes together with engineering and project management.
• Manage tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract award for equipment and construction services (BOP/EPC/Grid/main equipment packages).
• Ensure effective contract execution, including change control, claims management, risk mitigation and on‑site commercial follow‑up.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships in key markets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional input across engineering, sustainability, legal, HSE, finance and project teams.
• Align project procurement activities with Group Category strategies and contribute to process improvements.
