Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking an MCR Readiness Lead to guide operational readiness and engineering excellence across major component replacement programmes. You will lead readiness activities, drive continuous improvement, and work with a wide range of stakeholders across the fleet.

The role offers a hybrid setup with home and site work across the UK, a competitive salary, bonus, and a market-leading pension. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel to projects are required.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering experience with leadership and management responsibility.
• Proven experience in operational safety and understanding of industry safety rules.
• A minimum HNC or HND qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering large or complex engineering component replacement projects.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and quality activities for major component replacement programmes across the EDF power solutions fleet.
• Develop and implement project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering to identify replacement requirements and assess impacts.
• Embed engineering excellence and operational experience in major component replacement activities.
• Provide oversight during stakeholder readiness meetings and manage risks.
