Job summary

Ava Energy is seeking an Assistant/Associate Legal Counsel to join our UK Business, supporting fast-paced growth in the BESS and Wind sectors. The role covers wind turbine supply contracts, BESS agreements, regulatory compliance, HR matters and procurement, providing broad, hands-on leadership to shape the legal function.

Ideal candidates will bring 3–4 years in legal roles (in-house/PP) with a Renewable Energy background and solid experience in EPC contracts, PPA and O&M agreements.

Qualifications

• At least 3–4 years of experience in legal roles (in-house/PP).
• Background in Renewable Energy (ideally BESS or Wind).
• Experience with EPC contracts, PPAs and O&M agreements.

Responsibilities

• Advise on wind turbine supply contracts and BESS agreements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across the business.
• Address HR matters and procurement as part of the legal function.
