Job summary

Example Recruitment is seeking a qualified renewables engineer to service, fault-find, and repair renewable heating systems within domestic social housing across the West Midlands. The role focuses on maintenance of renewable central heating systems and delivering excellent customer care to tenants and clients.

You will ensure compliance with Health & Safety, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and COSHH requirements, with opportunities for overtime and a company-provided van and tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a qualified renewables engineer.
• Experience fault finding and repairs of Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal.
• Full UK Driving Licence; DBS check on offer.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of renewable central heating systems in domestic social housing properties.

Job description

A qualified renewables engineer is needed to cover the West Midlands area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on renewable heating systems in domestic social housing properties.

The Role:

• Maintenance and Repair of Renewable Central Heating Systems
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified renewables engineer
• Experience carrying out fault finding and repairs of Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1 (Desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package:

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at hourly rate

• Salary: £42,500 - £44,000 per annum
