Job summary
Syme Solutions Ltd. is looking for a Renewable Energy Engineer to design and optimise renewable energy systems, working across solar PV, wind, battery storage, and energy efficiency solutions.
The successful candidate will analyse technical requirements, support installation, and contribute to feasibility studies and performance modelling.
The role requires a degree in Renewable Energy or related field, with existing experience and understanding of renewable technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience in renewable energy, energy engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Strong understanding of solar PV, wind, or energy storage technologies.
- Ability to analyse data and use modelling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Professional certifications (e.g., IET, Engineering Council) are a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Analyse technical requirements, produce design specifications.
- Support installation and commissioning activities.
- Provide input into performance modelling and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies.
- Produce system layouts, specifications, and performance reports.
