Job summary

Ganymede Energy is partnering with the UK’s leading Solar PV installer to recruit a skilled Renewables Electrician. You will install EV chargers, Solar PV systems, battery storage and other low-carbon technologies for major new-build housing developers to support carbon reduction targets.

Operating in a safe, controlled environment, you will focus on quality, safety and customer service, with responsibilities including solar installations, paperwork submission, and strict compliance with MCS

Qualifications

• 18th Edition BS7671 required.
• SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Solar PV systems, including inverters and generation meters.
• Submit all operational paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance with MCS guidelines and Health, Safety, and Quality frameworks.

The Role

Operating in a safe, controlled environment, you will install cutting-edge renewable energy systems on new-build housing developments. Your mission is to deliver the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Installing Solar PV systems, including inverters and generation meters.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all operational paperwork.
• Maintaining strict compliance with MCS guidelines, alongside standard Health, Safety, and Quality frameworks.

The Package

• Financial: £40,000 basic salary plus a lucrative bonus scheme, Realistic OTE £48 - £52K
• Work-Life Balance: 34 days of annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays and an extra day off for your birthday.
• Resources: Company van, fuel card, and all necessary tools provided.
• Schedule: Standard working week, Monday to Friday, 40 hours.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you must hold the following credentials and experience:

• 18th Edition Electrical Qualifications (BS7671).
• N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures).
• Proven experience in solar installations or working within the new-build housing sector.
