Job summary

Ganymede Energy, partnering with a leading UK solar PV installer, is recruiting a skilled Renewables Electrician to install EV chargers, Solar PV, battery storage and other low-carbon tech on new-build housing developments.

You will work in a safe environment delivering high quality work, with a standard 40-hour week Mon-Fri, a basic salary of £40,000 plus bonus, and perks including a company van, fuel card, and tools.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical Qualifications (BS7671) required.
• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures).
• Proven experience with solar installations or new-build housing.

Responsibilities

• Install Solar PV systems, including inverters and generation meters.
• Submit operational paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance with MCS, health, safety, and quality standards.

The Role

Operating in a safe, controlled environment, you will install cutting-edge renewable energy systems on new-build housing developments. Your mission is to deliver the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Daily responsibilities

• Installing Solar PV systems, including inverters and generation meters.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all operational paperwork.
• Maintaining strict compliance with MCS guidelines, alongside standard Health, Safety, and Quality frameworks.

The Package

• Financial: £40,000 basic salary plus a lucrative bonus scheme.
• Work-Life Balance: 34 days of annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays and an extra day off for your birthday.
• Resources: Company van, fuel card, and all necessary tools provided.
• Schedule: Standard working week, Monday to Friday, 40 hours.
