Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Renewable Service Engineer in Plymouth, Devon, to maintain and repair renewable energy systems including ASHP, GSHP, MVHR, EAHP and solar installations across social housing properties.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a company van and fuel card, and a salary of £44,000 per year plus benefits. ASHP/GSHP experience and full UK driving licence are desirable, with on-site work across Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points).
• Experience with renewable energy systems (ASHP/GSHP/Solar).
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and service renewable energy systems.
• Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide client training on system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering team on improvements.
• Ensure safety standards compliance and accurate reporting.
